This Cookie Policy explains how Bazaarak uses cookies and similar technologies on bazaarak.ca, and how you can manage them. It supplements our Privacy policy.
1. What we mean by cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use browser local storage and session storage for similar purposes—for example keeping you signed in, saving cart contents, language, and light/dark theme.
2. Categories we use

3. Third-party cookies
When you use certain features, third parties may set cookies:
- Google / Firebase — sign-in, authentication, and app infrastructure.
- Google Sign-In — if you choose to log in with Google.
- Payment providers — card payment and fraud prevention during checkout.
- Fonts / CDN — delivery of stylesheets or scripts we load from trusted CDNs.
Those providers have their own privacy and cookie policies.
4. Your choices (Canada)
- Essential cookies and storage are needed for sign-in, cart, and checkout. Blocking them may break those features.
- You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, and you can sign out to end your authentication session.
- Preference data (theme, language) can be changed in the app UI; clearing site data removes it.
- We do not use non-essential advertising cookies on the core marketplace. If we add optional analytics or marketing tags in the future, we will update this policy and provide appropriate notice or controls.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers send Do Not Track signals. There is no single Canadian industry standard for responding. We handle personal information as described in our Privacy policy and applicable law (including PIPEDA).
